For many years we have been buying VAT qualifying prestige cars. VAT qualifying is where the VAT has previously been paid to Custom & Excise and not been recovered. This means for export sales, tax will not need to be paid for your chosen vehicle. This could prove to be a very large cost saving.
For example a used VAT Qualifying vehicle purchased at £69,990 will include a VAT amount of £11,663. This means that you have the potential to claim the VAT back once the vehicle is permanently exported outside of the E.U.
